  • Real-time Location Services:Use location awareness to track employees, equipment and assets. Improve internal workflows and increase operational efficiency by triggering user workflows based on proximity alerts. Gather valuable data on traffic patterns to optimize traffic flow and more.
  • Custom Points of Interest: Create, configure and display POIs—such as restaurants, ATMs and restroom facilities—making your venue map more helpful and valuable.
  • Simple Real-Time Map Management: Phunware maps are easy to edit, manage and update on the fly, directly within the cloud. Restrict access to specific areas and routes temporarily or create and edit wheelchair-accessible routes as needed.
  • Native Map Experience: Phunware maps provide the mapping experience users expect and are familiar with, following the latest Google and Apple technologies and design patterns—including pinch zoom, panning and rotation.
  • Web Wayfinding: Phunware’s Web Wayfinding experience allows users to generate static turn-by-turn indoor routing directions of your facility from home or once they’ve arrived. Frequently Asked Questions

Blue Dot is our indoor location positioning feature. When combined with our routing feature, the blue dot aligns with the app user’s route they progresses towards the destination. It all happens smoothly and accurately, without the “bounce” or “wiggle” that often compromises other navigation systems. The experience is very similar to the familiar smartphone GPS navigation.
The best way to understand the differences between Phunware’s solution and other solutions is to schedule a demo. Phunware has developed thousands of mobile apps for many of the biggest brands in the world. We leverage those learnings to create best-in-class experiences so app users will stay engaged, visiting the app often and providing ROI for Phunware’s customers.
Phunware’s solution accommodates facilities of any size. For a single campus with multiple buildings, users would have access to multiple building maps—with seamless navigation between buildings via GPS, beacons and/or indoor Wi-Fi. For multiple campuses, users simply select their preferred campus when the app launches. The app remembers this information and brings the preferred campus up each time, unless or until the user requests information about the other campus(es).
